Some useful trade data is available on the Economist website. There’s a handy breakdown of the world’s biggest importers and exporters – data which also reveals where the biggest current account surplus and deficits lie. But the main focus of the article is the difficultly in striking global trade deals, and the consequent growth in regional trade agreements (RTAs).
