Five Charts on the UK Rental Housing Sector

This Guardian article provides a snapshot of the UK rental housing market and thus offers some interesting economic insights into the wider macroeconomy.
For me, the issue of a lack of affordability and the receding prospect for many people of getting onto the housing market is the real issue that has longer-term adverse implications for the state of the economy, that said the poor quality of rental housing is also a concern.
