Netflix Finishes 2017 With a Record Profit

A staggering chart highlighting the surge in Netflix profits over the last twelve months. Having generated $11.7 billion in revenue, Netflix posted a record profit of $559 million in the last financial year.
Is their rapid growth of revenue sustainable? What are the commercial challenges facing a business that has grown at such a breakneck speed? They continue to invest heavily in new programme content. In 2017 Netflix spent $6 billion on 30 new original shows.
