Does our education system destroy creativity?

Many teachers will have read the work of Sir Ken Robinson on education and creativity; discussion of that topic has been in the news headlines again over the half term break, with a widely shared article from The Guardian doing the rounds of social media which examines the view that everyone is born creative, but that school crushes it out of most of us.
