Want to Live Longer? Have Kids!

Research conducted by the Journal of Epidemiology and Community Health has found that parenthood can help increase your life expectancy.

The effect was found greater for men than for women lending further support that marriage (and consequently the family unit) benefits men more than women. One explanation for this is that children will help in the physical and emotional care of their parents as they age.
