Social Media Censorship

TikTok is one of the world's biggest social media platforms but in the past few months, some users have found that TikTok has restricted certain content deemed 'risky.'
This article follows the case of Mr Barman who alleges that some of his content has been 'shadow-banned', where content is partially blocked to some users of a community. Mr Barman suggests that the reasons are political due to the nature of the some of the content he posts.
