Area under a curve
The area under a curve can be found by using one of two methods.
Method 1: Approximating using a numerical method such as dividing the area into shapes and calculating their areas (the Trapezium Rule and Simpson's Rule use such a technique).
Method 2: Integration (also known as Integral Calculus).
