This collection hosts a series of simulations developed by tutor2u Health & Social Care. These simulations cover a variety of qualifications, including BTEC Tech Award, AAQ BTEC National and NCFE T Level Health.

Each link below provides the live simulation link along with a teacher guide on how to play & use.

Why use simulations to teach Health & Social Care?

Simulations are powerful tools for teaching Health & Social Care because they bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world application. They provide a safe, realistic vocational context where learners can apply conceptual knowledge, such as understanding human development across life stages , interpreting health indicators, and demonstrating core care values, without risk to actual service users. By immersing students in realistic tasks, simulations help develop essential applied knowledge and skills like problem-solving and communication, ensuring they are better prepared for further study or progression into the health and social care sector.

Notes:

These simulations are currently in beta testing and may be amended and improved based on classroom feedback and further evaluation.
