Unit 4 Teaching Activity: Sampling with Skittles

This is a really fun lesson to enhance your teaching of sampling methods for Unit 4: Enquiries into Current Research in Health and Social Care. It requires minimal teacher input - all you need is the handout provided and bags of Skittles!

This activity will consolidate knowledge in relation to five sampling methods: random, opportunity, volunteer, systematic and stratified. It gives students the opportunity to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of each method.
