Unit 4 Teaching Activity: Village People

This activity will enable students to develop their knowledge and understanding of the importance of selecting the right sample for Health and Social Care Research.

It gives students hands on experience of gathering samples of participants (the villagers) to take part in research. The students will implement the sampling techniques, and will be able to discover the advantages and disadvantages of each, through witnessing the issues with validity and generalisability for themselves!

Also includes a handy sampling key word definitions table.
