The BBC Podcast Beyond Today has a fascinating podcast about how bad ideas take hold, and links perfectly to the Medicine units across the GCSE course.

Pupils consider the changing attitudes in medicine and the developments of science and technology, and this would make a wonderful modern day comment in examinations showing real engagement with the GCSE course content beyond the specification. The podcast can be found here
