Here is a short update on the latest inflation data for the UK economy ahead of the summer 2018 economics exams.
Inflation increased during 2016 and 2017 as import prices went up. This was a consequence of a fall in the value of the pound from late 2015, and more noticeably following the result of the EU referendum in June 2016.
