Danny Quah is a leading economist on the issue of globalisation
Until recently he was a professor at the London School of Economics, he has taken up a new role in Singapore
- Mid 1980s – located in the mid Atlantic
- 2008 – a location east of Helsinki and Bucharest
- 2050 projection – located between India and China
A shift from 1980 to 2050 of 9,300km or 1.5 times the radius of the earth
Soft power mirrors but lags changes in economic power
