This is an introductory video on aspects of collusion within an oligopoly. Collusion is any explicit or implicit agreement between suppliers in a market to avoid competition. But whilst price fixing within a cartel is outlawed by competition law in the UK, EU and many other countries, not all instances of collusive behaviour are deemed to be illegal by the European Union Competition Authorities.
