A LEVEL ECONOMICS

The total number of entries for A Level Economics exams in 2018 was 30,810. This represented an increase of 736 entries (2.4%).

The total number of entries for A Level Economics by major awarding body in 2018 compared with 2017 is shown in the chart below:

Note: chart excludes entries for Edexcel Economics spec B (circa 1k entries in 2018)

AS ECONOMICS

The total number of entries for AS Level Economics exams in 2018 was 7,396. This represented a decrease of 8,973 entries (54.8%).
