Sustainable Growth - Forest conservation in Costa Rica

20th November 2022
This clip looks at how Costa Rica has blazed a trail for reforestation, being the only developing economy to reverse deforestation and increase forest cover, and help reduce carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.
That it's been able to do so has been due to its own efforts and its ability to access World Bank finance to accelerate this trend. Forests now cover up to 60% of the country with resulting greenhouse gas emissions.
