This FT video from the heart of rural India is revealing in many different ways. More parents are taking their students out of state schools and sending them to the mushrooming private system, but standards in this sector vary hugely. Getting motivated teachers ti turn up to school and deliver effective lessons is just about the most basic requirement of an education system, it is a work in progress in India. Will need educational entrepreneurs make a sizeable difference?
