We’ve just added a new collection of very short Economics videos exploring interesting ideas and applications that can help students go a little beyond the standard specification content. Each video takes around 60 seconds, making them easy to use as lesson starters, extension activities, discussion prompts or simply something to share with students who enjoy exploring Economics more widely.

The collection includes topics such as:

  • Algorithmic Collusion
  • Algorithmic Pricing
  • Attention Scarcity
  • Data as an Economic Resource
  • Killer Acquisitions
  • Rational Expectations
  • Secular Stagnation
  • Shrinkflation and Skimpflation
  • Surveillance Capitalism
  • The Gravity Model of Trade

There are also videos on Ricardian equivalence, debt deflation, platform decay, network economies of scale, credence goods, positional goods, path dependency, sludge, bundling, blitzscaling and plenty more.

Free to use, no login required, and ideal for adding a little extra Economics to lessons or independent study.
