Austerity fatigue sets in

Ed Conway from Sky asks "how do you solve a problem like austerity?"
We have now had seven years of austerity with local councils in particular bearing the brunt of cutbacks in state funding which are hitting day-to-day front line services. But what does ending fiscal austerity actually mean? Conway argues that any austerity raises more questions than it answers but that public opinion does appearing to be shifting towards an increase in government spending even if it means the majority of people paying some extra in taxes.
