Entries and Grades

Entries rose 10.3% vs 2025, to 46,257.
A*: 7.6% ▼ 0.6 pts vs 2025.
A*–A: 30.0% ▼ 0.5 pts vs 2025.
A*–E: 98.2% ▼ 0.1 pts vs 2025.
31.7% of students were awarded a B grade
21.3% of students were awarded a C grade

The grade boundary for an A for each board was as follows:

AQA: 154/240 (64%)

Edexcel: 265/335 (79%)

OCR: 168/240 (70%)

Eduqas 240/360 (67%)
