The Lone Wolf Martial Arts case study lets students explore entrepreneurial motives, personal characteristics, SMART objectives, social purpose, competitive advantage and stakeholder impacts within a community-focused service business.

Students examine why Sensei Rich runs Lone Wolf Martial Arts, distinguishing financial from non-financial motives and identifying entrepreneurial characteristics supported by evidence. They create a SMART objective for the academy’s next 12 months, explain how its social purpose could strengthen competitive advantage, and analyse how two stakeholder groups are affected. The worksheet develops understanding of entrepreneurship, objectives, differentiation, stakeholder relationships and the role of purpose in building customer loyalty, reputation and sustainable local business growth.
