Asda launches 'greener price' promise and sustainability store

A genuine commitment to more environmentally-friendly retail or virtue-signalling?
Concern for corporate social responsibility or profit-maximising? Asda is looking for greener methods of selling, promoting sustainability. A “live” trial will be monitored in Leeds, with customers asked to give feedback on the various schemes that could be a model for other stores. Loose fruit and veg are to cost no more than when wrapped.
