The tutor2u Psychology Team would like to wish you all a Happy New Year and thank all of our followers for what has been an incredible 2016.

To say that 2016 was a busy year is a severe understatement and our success would not have been possible without the support and encouragement of the Psychology teachers in our amazing ‘tutor2upsych’ community, so thank you.

We know that 2017 is going to be an interesting year, with the first linear exams looming on the horizon. However, we remain committed to supporting teachers and students throughout this process. Here are a few things coming up in 2017 that might just help.

FREE Student Webinars

We have eight student revision webinars lined up for January and February, covering Issues & Debates, Biopsychology and Social Influence. We have 200 spaces available on every webinar. However, places are filling up fast, so to sign up click here.

Teacher CPD

Following our hugely popular and successful CPD event titled: A-Level Psychology Department Results Booster – Summer 2017 in Manchester and London, we have now added two more dates to the diary: 9^th February in Newcastle and 10^th February in London. Student Revision Conferences

From 21^st March to 10^th May, the tutor2u Psychology Team will be touring the country delivering our Flying Start (Year 12) and Grade Booster (Year 13) Workshops. Digital Store

Over Christmas, we have been filling the digital store with single lesson solutions and hundreds of teaching and learning ideas. If you’re stuck for a lesson or need something new to spice up your classroom in 2017, then why not visit our digital store by clicking here. Webinars

• This term we’ve hosted 36 free student/teacher webinars
• We’ve provided almost 40 hours of advice, guidance and support online
• 1156 different people took part in our webinars!

Student Conferences – Strong Foundations

• We ran the first ever Strong Foundations Psychology Workshops at 9 locations around the country
• We met over 1,462 students and teachers

CPD

We designed and hosted three new CPD events, including:

• New to Teaching AQA Psychology
• Fast Track Your Planning for Year 2 AQA Psychology
• A-Level Psychology Department Results Booster

Over 120 digital teaching and learning resources have been created for these events which were attended by almost 100 teachers!

Digital Resources

This term we have produced a monumental number of digital teaching & learning resources, including:

• Optional Topic Companion Chapters
• Optional Topic Worksheets
• Research Method Application Worksheets
• Core Topic Essays
• Single Lesson Solutions
• An AS Replacement Exam and the first Unit Assessment Exam
• And lots lots more, coming out in 2017.
