Developing wider skills - cryptic crosswords

Ruth Tarrant

14th September 2016

It might sound completely barmy planning to do cryptic crosswords with your students - but I remember one of my teachers at secondary school doing just that, and we LOVED it! Why? They give a great sense of satisfaction, you often need to work together, it helps build vocab, and problem solving/thinking outside the box is a great life skill.
