This course focuses on how to teach exam technique which is specifically applicable to the Pearson T Level Health Core Exams. It is designed to develop your professional practice: strategies you can take back to your own classroom the very next day, which will directly contribute to student success in Paper 1 and Paper 2 (the Core Exams).

This course provides a comprehensive introduction to the effective teaching of the Year 1 Core of the Pearson T Level Health qualification. The day will explore practical approaches to teaching the knowledge and understanding across Content Areas 1–9, alongside strategies for developing the six Core Skills that students need to apply throughout the qualification. It will also consider how these knowledge and skills can be brought together effectively in preparation for the Employer Set Project.

With a particular focus on the mandatory Supporting Healthcare Core, the day will explore practical approaches to developing the knowledge, practical skills and professional behaviours students need to demonstrate successfully. It will also provide guidance on teaching the Occupational Specialism pathways and preparing students for the demands of Occupational Specialism assessment.
