Nine out of 10 people found to be biased against women

The UN Development Programme (UNDP) has found that from its research into 100 countries that 9/10 people are biased against women.
One example from the report is that almost a third of men and women believe that it is acceptable for a man to beat a woman, whilst another finding is that almost half of the of people feel that men are better suited to leadership positions in politics.
