The following article explores the issue of modern day slavery in the UK.

In October last year, 39 Vietnamese nationals were found back in the trailer in Essex. The tragic case shone a light on the levels that people will go to leave one country to reach another, as well as the power that some captors have over vulnerable groups of individuals.

This article could be used for Crime and Deviance (organised crime, crime prevention, dark figure of crime).
