London Knife Crime

This BBC News documentary covers some of the causes and consequences of knife crime in London.

There is large range of issues covered in the video (including moral panic, anomie, status frustration), and it could be shown in the Crime and Deviance unit.

The documentary is a little under 25 minutes in length and does contain some graphic language/images.

Sarah Best

Sarah is a passionate full-time Head of Sociology and Psychology and has worked in a variety in schools in the UK, and she is currently working in a British international school. She is keen to develop and boost the profile of both subjects.
