ABOUT THE MICROECONOMICS ECONOMICS AWARENESS BOOK
Questions in A Level Economics exams can require students to have a strong background awareness of key markets and industries, without always providing that information directly in the exam paper.
The 80-page Microeconomics Awareness Book has been carefully designed to fill that gap. It allows students to independently develop their “cultural capital” in A-Level Economics and is suitable for all students taking the AQA, Edexcel (A), OCR or eduqas / WJEC specifications.
The contexts in which students are encouraged to build their microeconomics awareness are:
- The UK housing market
- The oil market
- Supermarkets in the UK
- The coffee market
- The NHS and healthcare
- The Gig Economy
