Enrichment
Great little resource for online learning
6th January 2021
I came across OpenLearn, Free Learning from The Open University when doing some lesson preparation on legislatures.
It is a taster site for the Open University, but offers a much more manageable challenge than many MOOCs that are on offer
Here, you can search for free courses, interactives, videos and more, both for topics that are directly of relevance to the UK Politics component of the A Level, and also other avenues of study of the subject family more generally - in other words, those you could add to a personal statement for a university application?
Directly of relevance to studies of the UK Politics course
The politics of devolution
Constitutions
Thatcherism
https://www.open.edu/openlearn/society/politics-policy-people/remembering-thatcherism
Developing a broader understanding of politics
Obama’s Foreign Policy
What is Politics?
Rights and International Justice
This is the section for Law, Society and Politics: https://www.open.edu/openlearn...
Happy hunting!
