Probability is the measure of how likely something is to happen. Probabilities are expressed as either fractions, decimals or percentages. The probability scale ranges from 0 to 1 (or 0% to 100%). An event with a probability of 0 (0%) is impossible whereas an event with a probability of 1 (100%) is certain.
