About the role
Prior Park College, Bath is looking to appoint an inspirational and dynamic Teacher of Humanities from September 2024 on a permanent, full-time basis. This exciting role gives you the opportunity to teach either History or Religious Studies to A-Level, and one other humanities subject to GCSE-level.
The ideal candidate will be a specialist teacher with an excellent academic background, first-rate communications skills and a passion for holistic education. The position could suit an ECT starting their journey into teaching and looking to benefit from our structured & recognised induction programme, or a more experienced practitioner eager to take the next step in their career at this prestigious and friendly school.
Our humanities departments (History, Theology & Geography) enjoy dedicated suites of classrooms at the heart of our School, set in 57 acres of rolling countryside around a stunning neo-classical mansion, a ten-minute walk from beautiful city of Bath.
All staff and students at Prior enjoy their own school-provided Windows 11 laptop for use at work and home with touchscreen and active pen technology. Staff laptops dock into large flat-panel displays in all classrooms, and our teaching makes extensive use of Microsoft OneNote and Teams.
