About the role
Knutsford Academy are looking to recruit a Head of Law to work within our dynamic and highly successful Social Sciences faculty. You’ll be joining a growing faculty that is constantly looking to evolve and to offer a broad range of exciting courses. The faculty currently comprises of the following subjects: Psychology, Sociology, Criminology, Health & Social Care, Child Development, Business, Economics, Enterprise and Finance.
A Level Law (OCR) is a new subject for September 2024 and current projected figures predict it to be one of our most popular A Level subjects. We are looking to appoint an ambitious teacher, or current middle/senior leader, with the knowledge, skills and experience to set the law department up and lead our law students towards academic success.
Applications are warmly welcomes from those who have a strong background in teaching A Level Law whilst also being able to offer the potential of teaching across other social science subjects. The ability to teach both Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 would be an advantage, although this is not prohibitive.
