Introductory Lessons for Units 1 to 3 of the AAQ

Today I am happy to provide you with more lessons for the AAQ BTEC National in Health & Social Care which you are all busy planning to start teaching in September.

These lessons provide a big picture overview of Units 1, 2 and 3. They cover key and underpinning concepts, as well as a brief look at some of the Unit topics. The assessment method for each is briefly touched upon, to give students a good idea of how their knowledge will be assessed. The Unit 3 lesson download also includes a set of basic case studies to support learning of the social determinants of health.
