Last updated 16 Dec 2022
This revision video looks at the different ways that climate change might make our weather more extreme in the future, and how these changes will affect our daily lives. We look at the impact of heavier rain on infrastructure, transport and water supply; the impact of hotter and more frequent heatwaves on health, transport and energy; the impact of drought on farming, water supply, property and wildfires; and the impact of warmer winters on energy, transport and health.
It is part of the AQA GCSE Geography course - Paper 1: Unit A - The Challenge of Natural Hazards.
