Italy in migrant stand off

A migrant rescue boat which docked in Sicily has finally been given permission, after six days, to allow the migrants on board to disembark.
Interior minister Matteo Salvini stated that several bishops had agreed to take in the migrants. This came after a stand off between the Italian Government and other European States over whether they should be granted permission to disembark the boat. Albania and Ireland are said to have also taken some migrants in. For more information on this story ....
