Armed groups in the DRC attack Ebola health centres

Concerns have been raised by the Congolese government about terror groups attacking health centres. They have requested for data regarding health care funding to be kept secret to avoid those responding to the Ebola outbreak being put at risk.


Since January there has been over 130 attacks on health facilities with 4 confirmed deaths. This constant threat, coupled with the lack of trust from many impoverished communities have led to an increased number of deaths from the disease.
