The inexorable rise of renewables is encapsulated in this BBC piece that highlights an unusual substance that is on the point of being used as a fuel - coffee waste

There seem to be grounds (see what I've done there!) for doing this - if you could convert all coffee waste into power you could power Manchester, according to the article.
Sweden too, has made great strides in this direction, demonstrating that, eventually, markets are working to tackle pollution, albeit slowly.
