Vodafone tackles barriers to women returning to the workforce
5th March 2017
It's interesting to see a large firm, like Vodafone, adopt a pro-active approach to tackling gender inequality, by seeking to increase opportunities for women to return to the workforce and reignite their careers.
It makes sense too: if you want to be the best, recruit the best, and this is likely to mean casting the net as wide as you can to recruit the best talent. Any failure to do that is likely to create a complacent corporate culture, lacking diversity and prone to collective corporate biases.
