Tesla scales back production target

It's proving a rough ride for Tesla as they look to produce the Model 3 at scale, with the firm admitting that they're currently well behind production targets, and facing a number of bottlenecks.

Elon Musk effectively admitted as much, putting social media footage of him camping on the roof of the Tesla gigafactory, but the company are finding the drive to produce at scale to be a bumpy one.

Tesla Motors almost doubled losses in the three months ending September 2017 to $619 million, a record quarterly loss.
