Stiglitz on USA/China Protectionism (????) Is protectionism occuring?

The India Times features an article penned by Professor Stiglitz regarding an impending trade war between the USA and China. The case as it has been for many years is the assertion that China should be regarded as a ‘currency manipulator’!

This could be used as a revision article for the A2 Synoptic Units. It brings in many different areas of economic theory and the inter relatedness of different variables in the economy.

It could be used with AS pupils to create a differentiated data response to focus on key areas of the specification.
