Heather Stewart in the Guardian attempts to identify the credo of the new Shadow Chancellor, and in doing so cites one name I'd be happy with - Mazzucato - and then little else. Yes, John McDonnell has ideological clarity but to my mind much of it sounds like certainty in ideas whose time has past.
