M&S looking to steal the Pick and Mix crown

I currently live opposite a Marks & Spencers so if you read my blog yesterday you will understand that I was absolutely delighted when I heard this news. M&S are to introduce pick and mix in store with 200g costing £2.50. Woolworths online cost 99p per 100g. A possible class discussion for this topic could be: Will Woolworth’s brand name and lower price be enough to allow it to compete with the convenience of high street shopping. This is an interesting topic for competition in the economics GCSE course or for business studies teachers.
