India - At Risk of Stagflation?

We have spent a little time in our A2 economics lessons this week looking at some of the challenges facing the Indian economy. Growth is slowing, inflation is persistently high, interest rates are rising and the Indian current account deficit on the balance of payments is widening. The economy faces many challenges and pressures for better government and structural economic reform are growing.
