There was a nice little article in the Telegraph titled 'Six charts that explain what's going on in the global economy right now' which you can find here: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/economics/11146...I took the liberty of putting all those charts into a little Powerpoint presentation to stimulate a discussion with my students. You can download it here:The_World_Economy_October_2014.pptx The charts provide an excellent chance to discuss the difficulties of forecasting as well as the problems that policy makers are facing. How would your students do things differently?
