Professor John Sutton from the London School of Economics discusses how African countries can attract foreign direct investment (FDI) and why it's crucial for creating jobs. Professor Sutton has been at the forefront academic research into how sub Saharan African countries can build capabilities, capacities and networks to expand their manufacturing industries as part of a development strategy.
