As 2008 comes to an end, this is a moment to wish everyone who visits the Economics in the News blog a very happy new year. May your 2009 be peaceful, positive and fulfilling.

Our new blogs were launched at the end of January 2008 and since then we have had over 4,700,000 unique visits across our four main subjects. A big hat tip to our team of bloggers for their ideas and hard work during the course of the last year. There is always space for adding more people to the team, please let us know if you would like to get involved.
