Here is a great five minute video looking at mass production of sandwiches in the biggest sandwich factor in the world based in Nottinghamshire. Lots of potential economies of scale evident here together with some potential drawbacks from division of labour.

The Heinz factory in Wigan, England, is the largest baked bean factory in the world. The factory was opened in 1959 and currently produces over 3 million cans each day
