Using this OurWorldinData chart showing the world’s consumption subsidies for fossil fuels in US dollars adjusted for inflation, answer the following questions:

  1. Identify two significant features of the trend in global consumption subsidies for fossil fuels 2010-23.
  2. Calculate the percentage difference between the year when subsidies were highest and the year when they were lowest.
