What has been happening to the price of gold over the past decade?

Using the Trading economics 10Y chart (click on 10Y), do these data calculation questions:

  1. What was the percentage increase in the gold price between Dec 12, 2016 and Feb 23, 2026?
  2. Compare the percentage change in the gold price between (a) Oct 23, 2023 and Oct 21, 2024; (b) Oct 21, 2024 and Oct 20, 2025; (c) Oct 20,2025 and Oct 29, 2026.
